From the book cover: "Sandra V. Hollingsworth and the story of Atlantic Mine is a happy coincidence. As part of the United States Air Force "family" both as a child and adult, she has traveled extensively and attended numerous schools. The fact that she was in the Copper Country led to her completing her undergraduate work with a Bachelor of Arts in History with high honors from Michigan Technological University in 1976. It also brought her into contact with the material on Atlantic Mine (and Wilfred Erickson). She lists "people and ideas" as her special interests. This is clearly evident in her volume on Atlantic Mine. Currently she resides in Utah with her husband and two children. Sandra Hollingsworth relates the life of 'the mine which paid dividends upon a yield of only one percent of copper per ton of rock handled. She finds some community heroes, and a mine full of grandparents and great grandparents, which should make the book sell like hotcakes."
